We wanted to bring you more Apparel
Product reviews, so we went in search of some inexpensive
riding boots to do a review on. We realize that not everyone
can afford to purchase some of the top of the line brands out
there, especially when they can run $300.00 and up. We went to
Rocky mountain
ATV for A.R.C. Corona ATV Sole boots. Their list price is
$79.99 plus shipping.
Why an ATV Sole? As most
people that own Motor-cross boots know they have a unidirectional sole
design so they can skim across the ground without sticking.
Since there is no need, or we would hope you do not put your
feet down riding an ATV, for this. An ATV soled boot is
lighter in weight and more flexible. Gone are the days of
clogging around in your heavy Motor-cross boots.
Our first impression of the
A.R.C. Corona MX Boots is that of quality. The Corona utilizes
padded inner and outer ankle areas and an integrated flex
panel for a better range of motion. The Corona also has a
molded plastic toe shift panels and metal toe caps that offers
superior debris deflection. The boot has a molded plastic
deflector in front of the first buckle to provide it
protection. The boot incorporates a nylon gaitor that seals
out mud and debris.
The A.R.C. Corona boot is a
pretty comfortable boot overall. We would like to have seen a
molded foot-bed for added comfort but you could always add an
insert. The quality and construction are what we have come to
expect from A.R.C. Who says you have to pay a high price to
get quality apparel?
